Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13th in 1962. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat group of actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. In recognition of her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than twenty years. She began her film career by appearing in the crime-drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s. She received a lot of praise. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Her role was featured in The Breakfast Club in 1985 which was a comedic drama which followed her first success. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one of the best high school films ever made. Although the budget for this film was $1 million it has earned more than $50 million. She also began appearing in a variety of TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. The show was for teens and first aired in April 1980. Other TV shows she appeared in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances by Sheedy includes Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie about a hero where she appears in a cameo. Her incredible performances have earned many awards, such as an MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
