Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She is an actress who has starred in multiple television series. VanCamp also has a great record in the world of film. She has a large following on American and Canadian TV. When Emily was 12, she began to become fascinated by acting after she visited her sister Katie while filming one of her movies. She began taking classes in acting, and then auditioning when she realized that she loved acting. The first time she auditioned was with small amount of advertisements and then was included in the show Are You afraid of the Dark, a Canadian horror film for children. The show only featured her in one scene with no dialog. She got her first big breakthrough at 15, when she got a role as a regular character on Glory Days, a WB series Glory Days. Although the show was canceled after nine episodes Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who cast her in his TV show Everwood. Additionally, a dancer and a photographer Emily was featured by Teen to be one of their best actors under 20. In Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
